JSON-LD / Structured Data Validator
Paste JSON-LD or page HTML to validate syntax, Schema.org hints, and rich-result readiness before launch.
Why validate structured data before you ship?
Structured data helps search engines understand your pages—products, articles, FAQs, local businesses, and more. A single syntax error or missing required field can silently prevent rich results in Google, Bing, and AI-powered search experiences. Manual inspection in DevTools is tedious, and production CMS workflows often scatter JSON-LD across templates, plugins, and tag managers.
Cavecrack's JSON-LD validator is built for content and engineering teams who need a fast pre-flight check. Paste a GTM container snippet, a headless CMS preview, or raw markup from staging. The tool parses JSON, confirms @context and @type usage, surfaces Schema.org hints, and flags patterns that commonly block product, article, and FAQ rich results.
Who is this for?
SEO specialists use it during content reviews. Developers use it when refactoring templates or merging structured data from multiple sources. Marketing ops teams use it before publishing campaign landing pages. If you manage a modern marketing site with headless CMS or component-driven pages, this fits naturally into your launch checklist.
How to use it
- Copy JSON-LD from page source, Search Console, or your CMS field.
- Paste raw JSON-LD or full HTML into the validator input.
- Click validate to review errors, warnings, and detected types.
- Fix issues in your CMS or templates, then re-run until clean.
Limitations
This is a client-side syntax and convention checker, not a substitute for Google's Rich Results Test or Search Console. It does not fetch live URLs, verify indexing, or validate against every Google policy nuance. For production rollouts, combine this tool with staged QA and monitoring after deploy.
Common structured data patterns we help you catch
B2B marketing sites frequently ship Organization and WebSite schema on every page, then layer Article or BlogPosting on resources, Product on pricing pages, and FAQPage on support content. Each type carries different required and recommended properties. Missing images on articles, absent offers on products, or FAQ blocks without properly nested Question entities are among the issues we flag before your stakeholders paste markup into Search Console and wonder why nothing changed.
If structured data is part of a broader SEO or replatform initiative, Cavecrack can embed validation into your component library and release process—not just one-off checks. Explore our contact page to discuss an engagement scoped to your CMS and analytics stack.
Frequently asked questions
- Does this tool submit my data to Cavecrack servers?
- No. Validation runs entirely in your browser. Your JSON-LD and HTML never leave your device unless you choose to share them.
- Can this guarantee Google rich results?
- No tool can guarantee eligibility. This checker focuses on syntax, Schema.org conventions, and frequent rich-result blockers. Google still applies quality and policy reviews.
- Should I paste HTML or raw JSON-LD?
- Either works. If you paste a full page, we extract all script tags with type application/ld+json. For CMS exports or GTM snippets, raw JSON is often faster.
- What if I use multiple JSON-LD blocks?
- We validate each block separately and report types detected per block. Complex sites often combine Organization, WebSite, and page-level types.
- How is this different from Google's Rich Results Test?
- Google's tool fetches live URLs and checks eligibility against Google's index. Our validator is private, instant, and ideal for staging markup before deploy—without exposing unpublished URLs.
